Well today was the day they released AVATAR, the collectors edition. I know I already own the regular blu-ray edition, but this one came with so much extra content. I couldn't help myself. Originally this was made to be released along side the 3d tvs, but I think James Cameron decided to scrap the idea and just release this ultimate edition. I don't mind.

Just like the title says, Call of Duty: Black ops.

This is the next call of duty after modern warfare 2. Of course the general populous are hoping that this game fixes all that was wrong in MW2. I remember playing a bit and after being killed by exploits again and again, I sold it. Hopefully this game got it right, but hey I'm not really in for the multiplayer. I'm in it for ZOMBIE MODE. Oh hell yeah, shooting zombies is awesome. What's more is that there is a scenario with John F. K, Nixon, and other cool people in the pentagon with  a zombie invasion. Oh hell yeah. I think this is probably one of the hooks drawing me into the game. Any how, here's to the coming Tuesday. ZOMBIE MODE.

Cosplay, but it was hard to figure who to put. After thinking hard and long, I decided to put some macross frontier stuff. This is Sheryl, a singer who is supposed to be like Lyn May. For some reason, macross always has a singer. Any how, thanks to Sankakucomplex. I'm unsure who the cosplayer is.

Well, here's a random shot of something. We'll figure it out later together, once I take more pics.

Eyes

Yeah, I think this mod is friggin cool. If there was instructions and if it didn't seem too hard to accomplish I might try. The mod is basically having the eyes flash in different color for the figma Drossel figure. It actually works quite well, but I think some mods to the head is needed. I'm a bit torn as it's cool but at the same time the figure is hard to come by. One little oops, will make me weep.

What more cosplay again?

Yes more cosplay again, and these are from Comiket. The event I believe is a huge convention in Japan which is more intense than the ones we have here such as Animecon and the other one I went to (the name escapes me).
Here are the ones I like and of course all pics are thanks to SankakuComplex. Usually Comiket is three days which is standard like the ones here, although I think the best action occurs on day three usually (things pick up, contests start, more goods for sale I believe)

Well, I was browsing Sankaku Complex again and ran into this,

Now, don't get me wrong I find people cosplaying to be cool and very proud like. This fella here is a kickboxer who is pretty damn good and he likes to cosplay. In the opposite gender. Yeah that's a bit to behold but hey, anyone who talks smack will get beaten down quite good.

 I can only say that he is the man and does whatever the hell he wants. I give him lots of props for doing what he wants to and not really care what others say.

Toy Story Bear Lotso

So my sister told me she saw Toy Story 3 and that it was very good, but at the same time the most saddest. I asked why and she did told me. I can see why some people got emotional, as the people I know who've seen it felt the same. I wonder if it's so powerful as if it's bringing back emotions and memories of their own experience. Anyhow, before I sidetrack myself, she mentioned that she really liked the character Lotso. I believe that's his name and he is the purple bear. At Target they were selling the 14" tall, voice, and interactive bear. I could tell she wanted it so I just went down and got one. I didn't expect him to be in a purple box. Woody and Jesse are in regular white boxes, I wonder why only him.

Well since I haven't watched the movie yet, there's probably a reason why. The voice on the bear kinda scares me, but my sister say's that's the feature that makes it unique. Interesting.

Eva Motorcycle

Yeah, believe it or not an eva motorcycle. Looks pretty darn good. I wouldn't mind having one myself. I can scream Eva Unit 01 LIFT OFF, or something. I think people would look at me crazy.

New shoes for my car

Well, I finally ordered my rims and wheels from tirerack.com. I was trying to do business with a local shop but the guy never called me back so I said forget him and bought my tires. I was also saving about 200 bucks, which in my mind any money saved is a good thing. Now all I have to do is wait patiently.

 That is the rims that I ordered. Ah a beauty she is. I can not wait to place them upon my car. 17 inch of aluminum, ooooooh yeah.

Tires

Well, yesterday was not a great day for good old me. I ended up being late on my first day because parking was UNBELIEVABLE. For some reason they blocked off one of the largest parking lots for construction workers only. WTF? So I ended up having to look in the smaller lots which were of course full beyond comparison. So I had to go another direction to enter the other parking lots. They closed off the road into a single lane and I went through but the parking lot in the back was full. I was angry and in a hurry and zoomed down and went on that single lane again only to have the bloody construction guy say NOO you can't come down. I was like dude I'm almost out let me go. I got angry reversed and forgot I was on curve and ripped my left tire. So now I'm on a spare wheel. It took me a bit to change at the parking lot and I can't really drive my car. In the end I really need to get my new tires soon. Sigh. 

Real vs Generated

Well while we are on Vocaloids, thanks to Sankakucomplex again, I was able to hear a classic song that I am fond of from an anime series long ago. The song is, "Sea of Miracles," from Record of Lodoss Wars. A comparison was made with the original sung by Maaya Sakamoto, written by Youko Kanno. Of course the original wins hands down. The one performed by Miku was alright, although there were some parts that you could tell was computer generated, especially the high notes. The one performed by the twins, well I won't comment on that.

A new vocaloid

Well from the cool peps at sankakucomplex, there is a new vocaloid coming to the group. I don't know how many exists and if each character as their own voices but I guess this is interesting news. Here's a pic of her: Oh yeah her name is Sukone Tei.

I am curious how far the computer generated voices can go, but I hope it won't become a new fad and kill off potential artists and current.

Transformers War for Cybertron BumbleBee

Finally a review for BumbleBee is here. Bee is from the upcoming game, The War for Cybertron coming out this week. I believe it's the 22nd of June. I know I have my preorder set, I can't wait. I don't really know what else to say except the figure looks great. Click to read more.

Well after the long wait of just wanting to preorder a iphone 4, I decided to hit Target to see what they had. In the end I bought three items, Murdock from the A-Team movie (best character), Iron Man Mega block toy, and on sale The Fifth Element.

Well, I wanted to stop messing around and decided to show what came in. Have you guessed which transformers came in? Hrm let's say you did. Well anyhow what came in was War for Cybertron BumbleBee and Optimus Prime. These figures are so cool. I'll review them later. Here is a quick shot:

And another package came in. This was something I bought from a person at tfw2005.com. Yep this is transmetal 2 air razor. It's a great figure and a review for her will come later.

Omgea Detailed

Well as promised I have more detailed pictures of this great figure. It took me a while to find a decently priced one as some were going as high as 215 dollars, but those were misb. Loose figures were still in the high 80's or so. I was able to nab this one for 70 dollars with free shipping. The only thing missing is the missiles and energon crystal. The crystal I don't really care for but I am looking for the missiles. Click the read more to learn more.

Transformers Animated Blackout

Well after almost a year of waiting after watching the review for this figure, it is in my hands muwhahahahahaha. It's been a worthwhile wait as the figure is so awesome and just by having it makes it even more so. The version I got is the Takara/Tomy Blackout where there are some slight color changes then the original Hasbro version. Hasbro has a more matte finish where the Takara version has more bright colors, almost chrome like. This is my first Takara/Tomy animated figure and it does not disappoint at all.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

So I was at work yesterday and I happened to get a text. I took a quick peek to see a text from Gamestop saying Metal Gear came in. I totally forgot about the game and so I looked forward to picking it up the next day. When I walked in to get the game, I didn't realize I put down a reservation for the limited edition. I was like eh, I did and the rep said yep.

Phones

Oh droid, how you tempt me so much. Your luster, fast network, and simplicity. It kills me that I can not hold you in my hands. The droid has been looking pretty nice as of late, with better network infrastructure. I tried an experiment to see how fast we could hit youtube. I took 2 minutes and got a connection error due to lack of signal. My friend took less than 5 secs and got a video started  with almost a full bar of signal. Wow. I just hope the 4g can live up to the rumors and my expectations. I've been suffering long enough with my white brick, lets look on with hope.
